Peer Review Process

Indonesian Journal of Environmental and Natural Science uses a double-blind peer-review policy, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential until the proposed article is published.

Research articles submitted to this online journal will be reviewed by at least 2 (two) reviewers. Accepted research articles will be available online after the journal's peer-review process. The Editor will make the final decision on the acceptance of the article in accordance with the Reviewer's comments. The language used in this journal is English.
The review is designed to assess the validity, quality, and originality of articles to be published. The main objective is to maintain the integrity of science by screening out invalid or low-quality articles. From the publisher's point of view, peer review serves as a content filter, directing better quality articles to better quality journals and thus creating a journal brand. Articles that have gone through the peer-review process will add value to the article. Therefore, publishers need to ensure that peer-reviewing is working well.

Feedback
Points specific to deficiencies in the manuscript's structure are most important. Are the methods used valid, are the data presented, and are the conclusions supported by the data? If the Editor can read your comments and clearly understand the basis of your recommendations, then you have written a useful review.

Benefits
The best benefit of peer review is to improve the quality of published papers by motivating authors to submit good quality work and helping to improve that work through the peer review process.

Submitted articles will be evaluated based on the following:
The originality of its contribution to the field of scientific publishing;
The strength of the theory and methodology provided on the topic;

After that, the section editor will send it to 2 or more reviewers in approximately one month. For the fast track, please contact the Editor. The author will be notified of the result one day after the reviewer's decision has been summarized.
