About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Environmental and Natural Science is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in environmental and natural sciences through the publication of high-quality original research articles and comprehensive review papers. The journal is published three times annually (January–April, May–August, and September–December) and serves as a platform for disseminating innovative scientific findings that address contemporary environmental and natural resource challenges at local, regional, and global scales.

The journal welcomes multidisciplinary contributions from a broad range of fields, including Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Biotechnology, Environmental Toxicology, Pollution Studies, Climate Change, Sustainability, and related disciplines. Priority is given to research that provides novel insights, scientific rigor, methodological innovation, and practical implications for environmental protection, ecosystem conservation, and sustainable development.

IJOEN encourages process-oriented, hypothesis-driven, and interdisciplinary studies that contribute to the understanding of environmental processes, natural systems, pollution impacts, ecological interactions, and emerging environmental technologies. The journal aims to bridge the gap between fundamental scientific research and real-world environmental solutions that support evidence-based decision-making and policy development.

All submitted manuscripts must represent original work that has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. To ensure the highest standards of scientific quality and integrity, all submissions undergo a rigorous single-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Final publication decisions are made by the Editorial Board based on the reviewers’ recommendations, scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
